Kubb 101

Kubb is a tossing game that requires skill strategy and teamwork. Like many games the object is to knock down the opponent’s pieces. Each team takes turns throwing batons at the opposing Kubbs until they all fall. The first to achieve this accomplishment wins. Once all of the opponent’s Kubbs are eliminated the remaining team must knock down the King to win the game. This combination of strategy and skill is what makes Kubb a game that players of all skill levels enjoy.

To play set up the pieces according to the rules and mark out a throwing zone for batons. Batons must be thrown underarm and it is recommended that other players remain at a safe distance until the baton has been thrown. Good throwing practice is required for an enjoyable experience.

Promote Teamwork and Active Play

Because of the social aspect of the game players can organize tournaments and keep track of their team scores or play casually without any competitive pressure. Flexible gameplay makes Kubb appropriate for players of all skill levels and a great option for various social gatherings.
